We have developed methods to calculate the electro-magnetic response of a wide range of electron systems and implemented them into the KKR code.  The DC conductivity, optical conductivity, and the XMCD spectrum, calculated in the framework of the linear response theory, are some of the physical quantities that we have considered.  We have also developed methods to incorporate non-equilibrium Green’s function method to the KKR method.  As example applications, we consider the DC conductivity of diluted magnetic semiconductors, CMR effects of La1-xCaxMnO3, the transport properties of half-metallic diluted antiferromagnetic semiconductor heterostructures, and optical conductivity and K-edge XMCD spectra of GaMnAs.
