 The Yamada Conference LXI on Spectroscopies in Novel Superconductors was held on August 20-24, 2007 in Sendai, Japan under the sponsorship of the Yamada Science Foundation. Approximately 270 scientists from 24 countries participated in the conference. The program of the conference consisted of 267 papers. Among them, 70 papers were presented orally. The other contributions were presented as poster, where private discussions with authors were most effective.
The organizing committee would like to acknowledge all participants, who brought a great success to the conference. The smooth steering of conference could not have been possible without the support of the local members of the conference office. Finally, the Editors would like to acknowledge the cooperation of the members of the Editorial Committee for the proceedings.
